Our Story
Truth and Credit was inspired by real-life challenges and frustrations with fraudulent transactions, unhelpful financial institutions, and misleading online stores. Like many of you, we’ve dealt with botched purchases, false advertising, and credit card nightmares. These experiences taught us one crucial lesson: knowledge is power.
But our journey didn’t start there. With over 40 years of experience in the financial world, I’ve seen firsthand the lengths people will go to deceive for dollars. As a Broker Service Representative and a Wholesale Lender for one of the largest wholesale banks, I gained insider knowledge about how systems work—and sometimes, how they don’t. I’ve been in the trenches, witnessing the fine line between legitimate business practices and outright scams. I’ve also seen both sides of the story in some of the biggest financial debacles, working closely with attorneys, banks, and government entities. In all honesty, it often feels like they’re all covering for the big players, leaving consumers… well, screwed, for lack of a better word. Everyone seems to be in it for the bucks—even the government, in my opinion.
That’s why I’m here. Armed with a great sense of humor (sometimes sarcastic, thanks to all the nonsense I’ve seen), I’m determined to cut through the BS and help people take control of their financial lives. And just to be clear: we’re not attorneys, don’t look like attorneys, and definitely don’t act like a lot of them. We’re here for you, not the big guys.
